The Realization

Bonjour !!
The realization (साक्षात्कार) is an uncommon word. I can't describe this, but one thing for sure, when we get this feeling, we don't have desires any more. I once had a discussion regarding this with a devotee of ISKCON in Mumbai, who invited me for a meeting. My concern was, "Can we get the realization only by Sri Madbhagvadgita (श्री मद्भगवद्गीता ) and I am glad that he replied, "No".
So, if we look in to other ways, ... We find sagun (सगुण) and nirgun (निर्गुण) devotees of God in this world. My own granny (attached pic) from Village ROL,(Nagaur, Rajasthan) is a sagun devotee, but she appreciates Kabir, who was a nirgun devotee as of my knowledge :).
Whenever we meet, we sing together the famous bhajans which I could never have experienced in my life. I owe a lot to her for this. Coming to Kabir, there is a Big name among Rajasthani folk singers, Mr Prahlad Tipaniya, e.g. check out this video,

who caught attention of the film maker Shabnam while in the quest for Kabir. If you are interested in Shabnam's documentaries then, take a look here . You will get to know about a scholar lady (विदुषी) Linda Hess. But this will increase piracy। My sincere request to buy the cd's to contribute in the Kabir Project. I have gotten requests for the lyrics of this song, so I am trying down here as much I could understand, probably Linda can correct me :)

(O traveler, you slept for many days, now wake up !! )

Teejey soyo tiriya ki sej pe, baiyaan mein baiyaan daari .
(Third you slept in the bed of woman, putting arms in arms. )
Moh mad mein phasi gayo tu, bhool gaya sab kaul.
(Got trapped in the attraction and affection and forgot your promise.)
Biaon tharo ho gayo re, ab to jaag musafir jaag.
(You got married, now o traveler wake up !)
Chitaa ko sono baaki re rahi gyo, sab jag liyo hai soyee
(Sleeping at Pyre is pending , every where else you have slept)
Chowthey soyo jaa aai masaana , lamba pair pasaari.
(Fourth you slept after coming to cremation ground, stretching out your legs)
Kahe kabir thare jaagan ki re, jagyo nahin re gawaar.
(Kabir says you fool,  you were not awake through out)
Makhaan tharo ho gayo re, ab to jaag musafir jaag.
(You are burnt/cremated, o traveler , now wake up ! )

My last post also touched the same theme Sufism, by the way in this respect we should not forget about the sagun devotees like Karma Bai,Meera,Rahim, Soordas,Narsi Mehta, ...to name a few. Just remembered, recently there were 2 interesting topics I saw on the Internet for movie slum dog millionaire-

1. They say Muslim religion is better than others, thats why Rehman got converted and got Oscars :), I was thinking then why another Oscar winner, Rasul Bhai quoted "Ohm" sound in his Oscar speech.

2. There was a factual flaw in the movie, where "darsan do bhagwan" song was referred to Soordas , just to make content of the movie relevant, rather, its original creator is Narsi Mehta.

Anyways, all matters as per my understanding is how pure and devoted you are in your thoughts, I saw Abida Parveen quoting somewhere,
नदी किनारे धुंआ उठे मैं जानू कुछ होए.
जिस कारन जोगन बनी, कहीं वो ही न जलता होए.
I believe that's what happens when somebody immerses herself in this ocean of "love". I am not talking about physical love here. Neither I can describe it :)

Okay what else....

1. No regular math problems going forward otherwise people will have bad impression about me :) , though I wanted to post a question related to number theory for which I got 80 US dollars 8-) .But if I could find something very interesting, will post.
2. I learned about this guy Shafqat Ali, the singer of Khamaaj. A singer from Patiala Gharana. If you want to see his effect., check out the performances with and without him for the song " Mahi Ve". For your information, he became famous with song "Mere mann ye bata de tu" in India.
3. Had a nice trip to Bangaluru, met the old friends and Njoyed the food at "Malgudi".Especially malayali dish "Puttu Kadle " :) (remember zoo zoo ad ? for international roaming ? :-))
